Wyatt Turner

Wyatt is from the small town of Dyer, TN. He attended the University of Tennessee at Martin pursuing a career in pharmacy, but fell in love with the game of golf. He graduated from UTM in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance. Wyatt began his golf career as an Assistant Pro at Pinecrest Golf & CC. He later became the Head Pro both at Milan Golf & CC and at Gibson County GC. Wyatt moved to Florida in Dec. 2017. He became an Assistant Pro at Bonita National Golf & CC, and later promoted as the 1st Assistant. Wyatt spent just under four years at Bonita National. He left in Sept. ‘21 to go to Kelly Greens Golf & CC for a short stint as an Assistant Pro before coming to Royal Wood. Wyatt is married to his wife, Kristen, who is a teacher. They have two dogs named, Theo and Daisy. Wyatt was elected as a PGA Member in 2023. He loves being a part of Royal Wood!

Thomas Sloat

Tom was born & raised in Northeast Ohio & brings over 30 years of experience in the golf business. Tom started his golf career at the Aurora Country Club as an Assist. Pro. Tom also worked as an Assist. Pro at the Pepper Pike Club & Tanglewood Country Club. In 1994 he accepted and spent the next 16 years in the role of the Head Pro and Mgr. at Briardale Greens G.C. In 2012 he moved on to Black Brook C.C. for 4 yrs. before becoming the Head Pro and GM at Astorhurst C.C. After the closing of Astorhurst he worked at GolfTec where he became a Certified Golf Coach. In 2020, Tom moved to Florida & has worked as the 1st Assist. at Eagle Ridge G.C. in Fort Myers & most recently as an Outside Services Supervisor at the Bonita Bay Club. Tom was married for 27 yrs. to his wife Tammy before her passing in 2016. He is the proud father of 3. A son Chris, daughters Ashley & Sara & 11 grandchildren. Tom has been a Class A member since 1994 and is a Life Member of the PGA of America.

Mark Monroe comes to us after spending 3 years at West Bay Club in Estero, FL. Growing up in Springfield, MO he was introduced to golf by his father, Steve, and has been passionate about everything golf since the age of five. Mark attended Florida State University on a golf scholarship majoring in psychology. After school Mark turned professional spending several years playing tournaments in over 40 countries throughout the world. Along with West Bay, Mark has spent time at The Silverleaf Club and Desert Highlands in Scottsdale, AZ, Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton, MA, Big Cedar Golf in Hollister, MO and Naples National Golf Club.
