Andover Square is a beautiful community made up of 144 condominiums divided into six two story buildings and four three story buildings. Each of the three story buildings have six condos on each floor and an elevator in the center. Each of the two story buildings have six condos on each floor.
Some condos have two bedrooms and a den. Some have two bedrooms and a wider Living/ Dining room in lieu of a den. Every condo lanai provides a wonderful view of at least one of the Royal Wood Golf Course holes.
The buildings are situated in a circle and in the center is a park-like area filled with dozens of palms, trees, and hundreds of tropical plants.
Our community offers a large assortment of activities over and above those offered at the main Royal Wood Club House and Golf Course. Our facilities include a tennis court (converts to 2 Pickleball courts), swimming pool, hot tub, large shelter for community gatherings, designated smoking area, Bocci court and car wash station.
Some of the activities offered are water aerobics on Mon., Wed. & Fri. mornings, tennis many mornings at 8:00am, Pickleball most mornings at 10:00am, bike rides to breakfast on Tues., Thurs., and Sat’s. at 7:30am, drinks and snacks at the pool shelter on Tues. at 5:00pm, Bocci on Tues. afternoons, and a monthly social event (often catered).
Best of all, Andover Square is a friendly, caring group of people. Residents, owners and renters alike, celebrate anniversaries, retirements, birth of grandchildren, and all of life’s happenings. In the case of a resident’s illness, neighbors are always providing meals. Last winter, residents donated over 2,000 food items to a local food pantry! There is a men’s work group on Tues. mornings that make improvements within Andover Square. The Landscape Committee is often out making or planning improvements. New residents are welcomed. Warm friendships are formed with residents coming from all over the U.S., Canada, and the world.
