Royal Wood has 8 Racquet Sports Courts, 6 hard Racquet Sport Courts throughout the Associations and 2 Racquet Sports Courts at the Clubhouse. Royal Wood's courts at the Clubhouse are brand new this year! They are certified Lakold Master Gel cushion surface systems, the same courts used for the U.S. Open.
We have a very active racquet sports club here at Royal Wood. There is a $40.00 joining fee, balls are provided at every match and prizes are given out to the Champions.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner, a casual player seeking to perfect your swing in the warm rays of Southwest Florida sun or a serious contender, our racquet sports association has a place for you. During season, there are signup sheets posted on the bulletin boards at the Club Racquet Sport Courts. You make your reservations on our Team Reach App. Women play on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – Men play on Tuesdays and Saturdays and Mixed Doubles are played on Thursday mornings. All the courts at the club house are reserved from 8:00AM to 12:00PM for club play. There are several different schedulers who set up the matches. The day before you are scheduled to play, check back at the board to see where you are playing and with whom.
Our racquet sports club also has several socials during the year, they are listed on the calendar and posted on the bulletin boards at the club racquet sport courts. They will give you information about the theme of the party, the menu and cost as well.
